A little bit about me…
I have three children; my eldest son is now in Reception. He adores school and seems to be growing up so fast. My two daughters are still in nursery and will hopefully attend Consett too.
I have lived in Consett for 10 years and my children were all born here so I strongly believe that our local schools need parental support for the benefit of our children. I aim to support the Federation in any way I can.
I have been a secondary school teacher and curriculum leader for 15 years and I love working with young people and seeing the difference that a good education can make.
My favourite children’s book is…
Tiddler, the story telling fish! by Julia Donaldson
My favourite thing to do in school is…
talking to the children about their learning, watching them explore and discover. The best bit is watching children using their imagination to play creatively and kindly together.
