From September 2015 our Nursery Unit will no longer exist.  In place of this we have extended our Reception class number from 42 to 60 in order to meet increasing demand for places.  We have made a number of adaptations and created a Reception unit with a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment to meet the needs of this age range.  The children due to attend our Nursery Unit this September have transferred to Beechdale Nursery School. As a result of this we have temporarily changed our name to Consett Infant School with a view to making permanent changes in the future.

Consett Infant School & Nursery Unit and Beechdale Nursery School are proposing to establish a Federation between the two schools.

1st June to 10th July 2015 is the six week consultation period.
