Meet Our Teacher
This is Mrs Thomas. She is one of the Year 2 teachers. Mrs Gates helps her to teach her class and Daisy helps too!
In Year 2 we have lots of fun whilst we are learning. Have a look at some of the photos below to see some of the things we do.
Reading time is always my favourite time of the day! The children love how we start the day!
In science we planted a range of different seeds, investigated how they germinated and observed their growth. We loved it!
In art we learned about Vincent Van Gogh and his famous artwork showing sunflowers. We looked carefully at some sunflowers and made our own artwork in his style.
We have been learning about the continents in geography. Here we are working together looking at atlases to find out information. We really enjoyed this!
We’ve learnt about Nepal as part of our geography work. We found out lots of fascinating facts and made posters.
We love Commando Jo! Here we are working on our team work and resilience skills.
We visited a local sculptre called Teris Novalis.
