The friends of the school are a small, friendly group of teachers, parents, carers and grandparents. We organise and run events and fundraising activities throughout the year in order to provide additional activities for our families and their children. We aim to hold regular, informal meetings to discuss and organise fundraising opportunities. Our volunteer list is very small and we are always on the lookout for additional helpers. You can help by volunteering to organise or in the preparation of events or be involved in running an activity. We appreciate all contributions however large or small and welcome any new members or ideas to enhance our group. In past years we have been able to help fund the provision of wellbeing spaces within school, additional resources for classrooms and help fund outings and special events for all children throughout school. Our fundraising allows all children to receive a special gift at Christmas and Easter.
We believe that we are a valuable asset to the school and without our efforts the children would not be able to access some of the additional activities within school and in the wider community that we help to fund.
