We have found an interesting photograph of Consett Infant School children celebrating V.E. day in 1945 on social media (see attachment) and thought we would share it with you. To mark this celebration, we would like to challenge the children to find out as many facts about Consett Infant School’s history as possible. This could be from parents or family members that have attended in the past or from research online. Key Worker Guidance
A letter will be sent home with your child tonight in relation to parents who are key workers and a proforma to complete if you feel your occupations fall into this category. A definitive list from the DfE has not yet been produced but as soon as this is received we will check the applications against the criteria. These forms will need to be returned to school tomorrow morning. Letter attached below.
