IMPORTANT – Survey regarding reopening school

We are currently in the early stages of considering how we can open school for a larger number of pupils whilst ensuring the safety of both children and staff. It is likely that this will mean a staggering of times, only opening to some classes on certain days of the week and considerable changes to the school curriculum and routine. In order to help us plan effectively, it would be helpful to establish how many children would be likely to attend. We have found an interesting photograph of Consett Infant School children celebrating V.E. day in 1945 on social media (see attachment) and thought we would share it with you.  To mark this celebration, we would like to challenge the children to find out as many facts about Consett Infant School’s history as possible.  This could be from parents or family members that have attended in the past or from research online.  The children can email their findings to their class teacher to impress them and maybe earn an award or two.  The email addresses are as follows:
