Behaviour Survey

March 2, 2020 by michellewhite

Thank you to all parents that completed our behaviour survey online. We had 30 responses in total and the vast majority of parents agreed that behaviour within school is good and that our school has a positive, respectful culture in which their child is well cared for.

One area of concern raised by several parents was behaviour on the school yard first thing in the morning. They reported concerns around bad language from both children and parents, children running around and not being supervised by parents and difficulties with parking and congestion  around school. We will be looking carefully at this issue over the next few weeks and put a strategy in place after Easter to help alleviate these issues. In the meantime, could parents please help by ensuring they supervise their children at all times in this area, be respectful of others with behaviour
and language and try to be considerate when parking around the school environment. Your help and support is much appreciated.

Dear parents,

To help us make sure we’re providing the best standard of education for your children, we’d like to know how you feel about behaviour in our school. This will help us to find out what we’re doing well and where we could do better and to make sure we’re meeting the needs of you and your children. Please take the time to complete this survey to help us make Consett Infant School the best it can be. Replies will be treated in the strictest of confidence and your feedback is very important to us. Thank you.
